This new video was dropped yesterday and it caught my attention. Hoodie Allen’s mix of hip hop, indie and R&B makes his style very unique. The video keeps your mind guessing as of what will what happen next. Is he kidnapped? Being held for ransom? The video is fun and the chicks are hot.
Damn, I didn’t know it was going to come out the very next day. Well here it is. Sex Ray vision presents relax. Although the duo isn’t a duo anymore. The vocalist left so now Ravi Parikh is making the magic happen. There so much badass electronic sounding jams on this album. The way the layering falls with all the instruments is a so aesthetically pleasing build up for the ears to take in.
It’s nice to finally hear a new track from Skrillex, its been a while. Get a track done with a Marley is a pretty honorable thing; Skrillex level of acceptance between different genre of music is remarkable. Rude Boy is a pretty steady electro reggae track, check it out.
I have been a fan of Sex Ray Vision since I discovered through The Kollection back in October. They are working on their new EP right now and I’m super excited about their sound. There is melodic stuff, bubbley stuff, heavy stuff. So far, this EP sounds like it will take Sex Ray Vision to the next level. I sure hope it does becuase they deserve it, they work hard and it shows through the music.
Currently listening to the Rumspringa mix. I like it, its has alot of house and beats you can really sink your ears into. Check out the page on Facebook. I believe they this organization will be setting up tours soon so keep an eye out. This was partcially created by my boy Drew up in Birmingham.
I posted about M.I.A.’s Bad Girlssong when the website was just starting out. I’ also posted on Wick-It the Instigator when he made his Future Krunk track. As you could of guess, these two elements mix well. Wick It does a wonderful job of presenting MIA Suadi-punk lyrics stylishly while maintain are melodic, heavy dubstep beat.
This new style of upbeat electronic dubstep has really been catching my attention lately. Artists like Milo & Otis, Wick-It, & Adventure Club are the bands I’ve seen present this the most forwardly. They achieve this equilibrium of melodic, vocal, drum, and the drop. Start listening to these acts more because this new style is here to stay.
Wow, who knew that Milo & Otis had it in them, such a perfect track! The bridges, choruses and drops are phenominal. This track is a nostalgic, energetic masterpiece. It has everything you would want in a Wonderwall remix.
Damn! What an energetic house mashup! Dibella has always killed it with his mashups. This combination of pop songs and orginal house/electronic music and just what your mind is begging for. So feed it. Here are the tracks used:
Madeon – Icarus
Adele – Set Fire to The Rain (Acapella)
J. Cole – Work Out (Acapella)
The Wanted – Glad You Came (Acapella)
I stumbled upon this track while I was scrolling through some blog website. Its very easy going and pleasing to the ears. At the same time its wobble can take you for a ride. Mr. Wonk has tracks that sound similar to this, but this is definatly my favorite, it just flows.
