I loved J. Coles track Work Out. Perfect choice for a party track and a baby-makin track. This track was jumpin demographics! The Cure takes a Beyonce track from Watch the Throne and completely make it his own. His rhymes are constantly fresh so you never get bored with the beat.

I had lost all hope for Nicki Minaj for a while but after Starships and now Pound the Alarm I would say her “do what the mainstream does” style to her choice in beats is actually paying off. Pound the Alarm is a full fusion of house pop and dubstep influenced build-ups.
The video is entertaining (more for girls than guy) and the clothing is cool, but there. needs to be another element to Nicki to really separate her from the heard. Anyway…

HOODIE ALLEN IN THE HOUSE. Sorry, but All American was an amazing album. No Faith in Brooklyn, Eighteen Cool,No Interruption are still shuffling through the iPod. Hey Now shows a little more atonal beats with slower melody. H. Allen slows down his flow but totally kills it with fresh, melodic, and original.

I don’t know if you guys new this or not but I am currently in Vietnam. Alot is growing here. In fact, it is the worlds fastest devoloping country, ever. I’ve been lucky enough to have seen the city globalize in one partiular way; the growing dubstep scene. It was few who sparked the trend in Vietnam, but many who followed. Now Dubstep Guns 2 is a product of the movement. Not only that, it’s a deeply under-rated video. Its fucking awesome. Great tracklist, CUTTING-EDGE cinematic effects, dramatic montages; overall, a long (yet entertaining) clip proving that these guys took there time perfecting the video.

This guys theme musically, culturally, and fashion-wise is just unique and cool. God I just love this song. It sounds old school . Everything is good about it. It’s laid back, fun, good lyrics. Shad seems like a cool guy. I don’t post much hip-hop becuase I feel like there isnt great quality work out there. It aint over is a exception .
One thing jumped into my mind when I heard this track. “For the fans of Ivan Goughs – In my mind.” There are alot of similarities between the two of them. But you can feel Moxxy’s own style with this track. It’s real, its alive, and it’s worth the 6 minutes.

Could you start out by stating your names and what got you guys into the DJ scene?

what really sticks out to me is the drum construction. It seems as if you let the electronic follow the drums alot. That combination really seem to make the overall sound attractive and energetic. Is there any method that you guys stick to when making a track? Do you go for a certain sound?

Chris and I grew up on hardcore and pop punk but had a love for top 40 so I think it reflects in our song writing process.

There is suck a strong connection between hardcore and dubstep. they both have build ups too drops (or breakdowns)
and the songs organization can be similar between the two genres, i grew up on the same stuff! and then got into dubstep in like 2009

yeah, a ton of artists that we meet used to or still are super into hardcore

Yea i think thats why its been easier for us to write tunes
I still listen to some hardcore. Not much but sometimes I crave it

so many people in the scene now have come from that sortof background

I never knew of Arty untill this track, but he is a pretty reputable producer. He definatly proves himself on this track. Spectrum (Arty Remix) starts off pretty soft, setting you mind up nicely. Then the drum and effects increase and your mind is locked. It finishes with a powerful and calm epic ending; a ending that really impacts you on the inside. Listen for yourself
