I wonder if Knife Party is still accepting BitCoins as payment for their new EP now that the BitCoin market crashed! Knife Party was originally apart of the Australian group Pendelum (if you don’t know, you really need to look them up) Two members broke off a few years back, formed Knife Party, and here we are.
Knife Party is being more known for their activism in the internet freedom movement, supporting groups like Annonymous, AnonFM, and concepts like bitcoins. They’re taking the risk of being different, which always has it’s pro & cons.
Anyway! Their new Haunted House EP contains four tracks, two of which have been floating around the internet for some time and two that are drastically different from typical Knife Party. Check it out Below:
I don’t know how I missed such a powerful track. Uploaded two weeks ago, the very underground Infuze released the trap-trance banger ‘Get Enough.’ You can guarantee you’ll be hearing this track in every mix, at every club. It’s simply a huge sound. So glad I re-stumbled upon this.
I’d like to thank Thissongissick.com‘s soundcloud stream for this next track. Why did I categorize this Apashe & Snails sound as Freaky? Because there’s no other way to describe it. The sound is on tempo and beyond diverse. The originality and creativity is so prevalent I can see why TSIS premiered this trap original: “Bubble Gun VIP“
Everyone knows that if Tiesto drops a track, it’s huge fucking news. This time he’s remixed Passion Pit’s Carried Away. This song is not only the first 2013 progressive anthem of Tiesto, but it’s undoubtedly going to draw other’s toward remixing Passion Pit, welcome to EDM Passion Pit, whether you like it or not.
The music video is defiantly bizarre. That basically the nature of most EDM video because there aren’t any trending themes that are common among most EDM videos…except bizarre-ness. The video is group of friends eat drug, swallow matches, and multiply. Not going to lie, it’s a blast to watch. Makes me even more curious as to how they make this effect.
Was pretty honored today to have The Bolivian March Affair e-mail me their track. Brainlessbeats.com scored a interview with Joey and Kyle back in July talking about future plans and such. I see they’re producing for Play Me Records now so I can only assume that things are going well, but mainly so because this track is dope as fuck! All around the quality of TBMA’s sound has dramatically improved. I feel like I hear every party of this new banger so well.
I’ve always been a fan of their colorful and melodic way of producing music. Mo Money Mo Problems (TBMA Remix) is no different. From beginning to end is simply ear candy.
Flux Pavilion is promoting his Blow The Roof EP with the the FREE release of OneTwoThree (Make Your Body Wanna). The track is a bit hard for me to describe. Very treble filled melody, deep voice samples, dubstep-infused build ups and dirty trap drops. Flux is expanding his horizons on this new EP, out Jan. 28th!
Figured I’d post this even though every other music blog site is as well. At Dawn We Rage released a trap remix of the radio-hit Kendrick Lamar’s Swimming Pools (Drank). The remix isn’t too different, it makes the track more DJ accessible adding more bass and percussion. Phoenix-based duo are ganna be big in 2013, watch out.

I CANNOT wait to see R3hab at Buku Fest this March!! Here is another incredible banger Electro House Track brought to by Rehab & Shermanology. Both are Netherlands based Electro House artist. Personally, I love the EH sound that is coming out of the Netherlands right now! Historically awesome. Check out the track below.
Wow, as soon as this song entered my ears, I was blow a way. It’s the chorus! It’s a mix of gothic vocal harmonies? with the tightest wobble-esque sound you could imagine. Completely taken by this track. It is the way KDrew bounces between the natural and electronic elements in the chorus that makes this track stand out. Makes me damn proud to be apart of the EDM movement.
Killagraham does it again! Killagraham is now signed to Never Say Die records and has put out a EP, Lifted, that is on the top of my awesome list. Yes I have a awesome list. The four tracks have different themes about them but they fall under the umbrella of the Killagraham sound, of heavy pounding rhythm and edgy melodies
