To celebrate his most re cent and honorable achivement, Avicii released a new track titled Two Million. Like most Avicii songs, it st arts quiet and slowley builds upon itself. The drop is a simple yet elegant house beat that any Euro clubber would love. I wonder if he will ever make something as impactful as Levels again…
If you are wondering how Knife Party got outrageously popular so quick Knife Party is a side project of two members of Pedelum. WHen I first heard tracks like Fire Hive and Unison (Knife Party Remix) I was hooked. Knife Party takes Dubstep to a whole new level. Rage Valley takes it even farther. These tracks will get even the most pessimistic music listener dancing. It just so alive and energetic. This four track EP is a must hear for any Knife Party, Pendulum, or Dubstep fans.
Adventure Club is one of the hottest up and coming artist in dubstep. There focus on cut-up vocals shows not only the time and effort they put into track, but also there ability to mix pop and dubstep together. Wait is a track that expresses there laid back side: Sampling Yeah Yeah Yeah’s Maps, the duo creates a laid back, extended track with catchy hooks and melodic womps.
This song caught my attention to just because of it cut up, constant change, qualities, but also it fits the quote of new heavy electronic being produced. Artist like Dillon Francis and Adventure Club are breaking in this new poppy, cut-up sound that in opinion, is better than what the big guys are producing.
The track that got me into dubstep was Scatta by Skrillex, 12th Planet and Foreign Beggers. They seem to have a good time chilling and making music with one another. This remix takes the best part of the original and throws a more chill vibe on top of it. Can’t wait to see what they come up with next.
He is another chill track coming your way. Killagraham’s credibility is undeniable. He made Drop It, which got outrageously popular due it to its awesomeness. I’m On One (Killgraham Remix) is more of Killagraham’s chill side, but his drop style holds power, but just it doesn’t blow the the lid off the the chill tone. It’s perfect.
Pretty Lights is a artist that is at the pinnacle of the EDM world. He is a part of the big names and has worked hard to get there. I havn’t heard much from him since I Know the Truth came out a while ago. Never the less, the track is stellar. It expresses more of his classic laid back side, mixing soft electronic with oldies.
You expect that anything that Knife Party touches is going to be gold. Knife Party broke off from Pendelum to create heavier dubstep music; they’ve been doing a great job with it. Last Time (Knife Party Remix) is a jam that will make you want to get your wasted ass on the dance floor.
My summer vacation has officially begun so expect more post. I got a iPhone but it’s hard to embedding code on it. Anyway, The Glitch Mob. He has compiled a list of great mixtapes. Ive listen to some and they’re seem to be chill electro sounding beats mixed with hip hop and famous verses from the late 2000′s. Not a bad sound. Some are free, some are not.
Archie just dropped a rockin’ house track. I never really gave Archie a chance until I heard this track. It has a smooth combination of soft and hard house, moving in and out of both styles seamlessly. Very Impressive.
