IDestiny is a Texas favorite of mine. His dubstep and mashups is just pure fun to listen to! I found that GlitchHop.Net (apart of The EDM Network) used inspiring works to describe this remix:
“From the electro to the dubstep influences, everything about this track screams big-room from the top of its lungs. This is one for the record books, with enough massive energy to go for years. This remix takes the fast energy of the original, slows it down to glitch speed, and totally funkifies everything. Go grab this download while you can, because this is a gem to remember.”
And, as usual, the track is free! So grab it below.
Butch Clancy, so much can be said about this young Producer of EDM. It’s as if every genre he goes for turns gold. Trap, Dubstep, doesn’t matter, Butch Clancy knows how to make an inventive, original twist on the genre; ‘Far Away ft. Amy K.’ is no different. Melodic, futuristic and eclectic are a few words that come to mind when this track his your ears. Get it below.
The power of twitter is unfathomable. There was one single tweet that let to the explosion of posts about ‘Jack U.’
That single tweet has led to an explosion of questions on the web. Everyone has been excited for the Mad Decent Block Party line-up announcement, but now the EDM world is puzzled by the less than descriptive tweet. It is rumored that the super duo will be performing at the MDBP’s. More info on that as it comes out.
By the way. You should go to the Block Party! Instead of only being based in Philly the block party is hitting up over a dozen cities from Calgary to San Diego. This is one tour that you don’t want to miss.
I don’t know how I missed such a powerful track. Uploaded two weeks ago, the very underground Infuze released the trap-trance banger ‘Get Enough.’ You can guarantee you’ll be hearing this track in every mix, at every club. It’s simply a huge sound. So glad I re-stumbled upon this.
Ultra is behind us, but nobody will forget the moment that Slash surprised us all with his rocktronica duo with DJChuckie during Weekend 2. It was mind-blowing! The collaboration of genre’s put a fresh spin on the usual EDM sound here and has sent a ripple through music collaboration culture. Keep your eye out for more hard-hitting genre fusing in 2013. DJ
DJ Chuckie drops the studio version of his Slash-featuring track giving it a clean sound and a great focus. Get it and listen below.
Just so happened to stumble upon this up-and-comer: Dead Robot, and a few things stick out. Good name, good track..if you’re a hardcore dubstep fan I highly suggest keeping your eye on this Tahoe-native’s uploads. “Your Face” a Figure-inspired sound, lives up to it’s name. It’s loud, live, but not aggravating; it’s the peak of heaviness a dubstep song can be without going overboard, which is a hard status to achieve. Good work.
I have never heard quite a fusion between dubstep and hip-hop but this has to be the best that I have heard so far. It’s stunning, melodic, deep, passionate, dramatic; the tone of Qwel compliments Figure electronic sound so well. Don’t expect this track to be weak simply because it’s mixed with hip-hop vocals. Figure KILLS the chorus with bass-heavy, rough electronic. This track is a must hear for those whom love innovation and diversity in EDM.
Conspirator has made the front page of ThisSongIsSick.com! Congratulations! I know I’m a little late on posting but god Damn, once I listened, I had to. It’s great! These tracks are truly eclectic! It’s takes the best parts of clubstep, reggae-ton dubstep and trap percussion and makes it into a plethora of massive heavy bass tracks, even guitar solos! Conspirator is not to be missed, it’s heavy, party and everything in between.
You gotta love Candyland. The duo is dope. Candyland has produced a new track: Get Wild (Original Mix) through Spinnin’ Records, who recently signed them. The track has a vocal anthem that easy to follow along to and an all around upbeat sound. Then the second drop slows down and goes way hard, and then it ENDS! Makes me want more! This track is only a preview and the official release of the entire Bring The RAIN EP comes out 1/21/13 so look out for it.
I CANNOT wait to see R3hab at Buku Fest this March!! Here is another incredible banger Electro House Track brought to by Rehab & Shermanology. Both are Netherlands based Electro House artist. Personally, I love the EH sound that is coming out of the Netherlands right now! Historically awesome. Check out the track below.
