I am huge HoodieAllen fan. My love of Hoodie begin with the LP ‘All American‘ then the release of ‘CrewCuts,’ both fantastic albums with clear themes and stand-out lyrics. His recent upload ‘Make It Home’ maintains the classic sound and provides everything you’d expect from a fresh Hoodie track.
Figured I’d post this even though every other music blog site is as well. At Dawn We Rage released a trap remix of the radio-hit Kendrick Lamar’s Swimming Pools (Drank). The remix isn’t too different, it makes the track more DJ accessible adding more bass and percussion. Phoenix-based duo are ganna be big in 2013, watch out.

The title says it all. Sex Ray Visions remix of So Beautiful is so beautiful. I have to admit , I miss when Sex Ray Vision was a duo, there hip-hop originals and remixes were amazing. Anyway, that is the past. Ravi Parikh ‘s twist on this track gives it a whole new feel. It ups the trance feeling from the original and the keyboards give it a more melodic taste.
I love the Watch the Throne album that Jay-Z and Kayne collaberated on, every track on that album is phenomenal. Now they have come out with the first video of 2012 for the track No Church in the Wild. Although they don’t make an appearance in the video, it doesn’t take away from the fact that the video is bad ass . Set in modern times, this video contains passion filled rioters in Europe. The fight and struggle and it’s all in slow motion. It pretty bad ass and it reminds me of what Greece must be going through with their financial collapse happening. Watch this shit.
Adventure Club is one of the hottest up and coming artist in dubstep. There focus on cut-up vocals shows not only the time and effort they put into track, but also there ability to mix pop and dubstep together. Wait is a track that expresses there laid back side: Sampling Yeah Yeah Yeah’s Maps, the duo creates a laid back, extended track with catchy hooks and melodic womps.
He is another chill track coming your way. Killagraham’s credibility is undeniable. He made Drop It, which got outrageously popular due it to its awesomeness. I’m On One (Killgraham Remix) is more of Killagraham’s chill side, but his drop style holds power, but just it doesn’t blow the the lid off the the chill tone. It’s perfect.
Searching through soundcloud Lucky Date came to my attention. I Want You (Vodge Diper Remix) is a upbeat electronic track for fans of Sex Ray Vision. It’s positive, groovy, yet laid back. The soft synths and hard sound collide together making a unique combition of electronic that all ears enjoy.
I’ve always been a fan of this mans work since the first track I ever heard. He, like a few others I’ve been listening to lately, has been producing great tracks with every soundcloud upload. Victory Dance is a realy upbeat energentic hip hop track. It’s quick rhythmes really make you wanna get up and dance.
Avicii is going on a new world tour! This man has exploded in popularity in the past few years, proving it doesn’t matter what genre you’re in, fame can come your way. The music video express the luxurious side of the famous life, in a slow motion, badass way.
I havn’t heard any hits from Asher Roth in a while. I think Party Girl will be the closest thing to a hit that he will come to for a while. The track take a sample from the 1985 track “Party all the time, loops it, throws some effects on it, and dishes it out. The flow is strong and the beat it tight.
