After 2Deep remixed TrindadJames’s ‘AllGoldEverything‘ I was completely sold. From then on, following his sound has been a blast. The LA-based trap artist has uploaded three brand new tracks, collaborating with the likes of Ape Drums and DJ Funk. All tracks are booty related and stand out from the run-of-the-mill trap you hear. Get them below.
Trap Music is weird. So when WhatSo Not co-released their new ‘The Quack EP‘ with OWSLA & SweatItOut, you could guess that weirdness what going to a high point. The group has written their own bio about the meaning behind their songs. My personal favorite has to be ‘HighYouAre:‘ sweet and sentimental parts with dirty parts smashed together!
“‘The Quack‘ “The Quack is everything we love about this project. Create the strangest sound possible & turn it into an infectious rhythm. It’s a stomper with character, not your everyday 808 banger. It’s raw and real!”
‘High You Are‘ “High You Are was an experiment. We wanted to take the concept of groove based house & push it to the extreme. Something that could hold its own, against the biggest ‘EDM’ hit, without compromising the feel & soul. The power to make people move, not just fist pump.”“
I am huge HoodieAllen fan. My love of Hoodie begin with the LP ‘All American‘ then the release of ‘CrewCuts,’ both fantastic albums with clear themes and stand-out lyrics. His recent upload ‘Make It Home’ maintains the classic sound and provides everything you’d expect from a fresh Hoodie track.
The errie, yet mysteriously romantic track ‘Stutter‘ by KTheory & ChromeWolves, has had an more than expected amount of hype around it. Why? Because the trap sound mixed with dark, soft synth will put any EDMer in a seductive state of trance. The song is so laid back, chill, funky and trap-influenced it could almost be it’s own genre. I’ve simply not heard anything like it before.
Best part is it is free so snag the download below.
I always love stumbling across female rap artist, especially ones as talented as Kat Dahlia. Her voice is so soulful and powerful and her flow is phenomenal, plus she is super fucking sexy! Gangsta is about her father and family and hard times, at the same time calling out all the “gangstas.” The piano rift is addicting and the video is bad ass just like Kat. Her outfits are super awesome as well, this girl has style! Check it out below and absorb the sound. Also check out the acoustic version here.
Jon Bellion is a man of different hats..sort of. His sound dabbles into hip-hop, r&b, and soft pop. His music video “Paper Planes” impacted me late 2012 and since then he’s never been off my radar. Translations Through Speakers takes it to the next level. Fresh beats and flow, ambient sounds and delayed vocal effects, and a soothing slow tempo. Each track carries it’s own persona and translates well to the listener.
Brainless Beats has been posting the tracks and videos that Hoodie Allen has been pumping out for a week now. Here is the grand finale. The “Crew Cuts” mixtape includes the hits ” Cake Boy” and”Fame is for Assholes” and much more. There’s upbeat party tracks, melancholy chill tracks, but all of them have a high lyric value and a great feeling behind them. Hoodie Allen is still considered an underground artist, but don’t downplay him, his sound is raw and he has the drive to make it to the top.
There’s alot of rumors going around about what to expect from what info has been given. What’s been announced and clearly indicated is this: Potato Will Eat You‘s YouTube page will be a media platform for exclusive posts of whatever the fuck Diplo, Skrillex & A-Trak feel like posting, such as: miniepisides, music news, new releases, exclusive prizes, ect. There’s been more trolling videos from these three than actual information, but here’s what you can expect:

New Hoodie Allen drops today! The critically acclaimed hip-hop artist Steven Markowitz takes it to a whole new level of fresh with his Basketball themed Music Video. “Fame Is For Assholes” proves that musical simplicity can sometimes give the best results. The easy-going beat mixed with clever and charismatic lyrics is what draws you in, but throw in some visuals, plus Chiddy, and you get a hot hip-hop hit that you’ll be seeing across the board.
After a long timeline of emotionally filled tweets and updates, Tyler dropped this new Domo 23 video on YouTube yesterday.it’s funny as fuck. Tyler is basically making fun of the Mexican style of Wrestling and incorporating rap as well. Tyler, The Creator and all of odd future are just goofy mother fuckers. So this gave fans a great twist on what they expected. I found the track audio online to big ups to the free download below!
