Hoodie Allen – Make It Home (feat. Kina Grannis)

I am huge Hoodie Allen fan. My love of Hoodie begin with the LP ‘All American‘ then the release of ‘Crew Cuts,’ both fantastic albums with clear themes and stand-out lyrics. His recent upload ‘Make It Home’ maintains the classic sound and provides everything you’d expect from a fresh Hoodie track.

Hoodie Allen – Crew Cuts (Mixtape) // Fresh Hip-Hop Sound

Brainless Beats has been posting the tracks and videos that Hoodie Allen has been pumping out for a week now. Here is the grand finale. The “Crew Cuts” mixtape includes the hits ” Cake Boy” and”Fame is for Assholes” and much more. There’s upbeat party tracks, melancholy chill tracks, but all of them have a high lyric value and a great feeling behind them. Hoodie Allen is still considered an underground artist, but don’t downplay him, his sound is raw and he has the drive to make it to the top.

Download and Enjoy.

Hoodie Allen – “Fame Is For Assholes” feat. Chiddy (Official Video) // Fresh Hip-Hop Music Vid.

New Hoodie Allen drops today! The critically acclaimed hip-hop artist Steven Markowitz takes it to a whole new level of fresh with his Basketball themed Music Video. “Fame Is For Assholes” proves that musical simplicity can sometimes give the best results. The easy-going beat mixed with clever and charismatic lyrics is what draws you in, but throw in some visuals, plus Chiddy, and you get a hot hip-hop hit that you’ll be seeing across the board.

G-Eazy ft. Carnage – Loaded // Rap Video

G-Eazy has gotten a lot of attention very fast lately, collaborating with big names like Skizzy Mars, Hoddie Allen, Cisco Adler, and others. I can’t help but love G-Eazy. From his unique voice, to his sharp looks, and classy style, he is amazing. He just released his video for Loaded ft. Carnage and whats not to love about it? It has asses, the beach, champagne, and yes, a fucking zebra. Check out the video below and absorb the sound.

Brainless Beats Presents: Best of 2012 Playlist // THANK YOU FOR SUPPORT!!!

2012 was a big fucking year; I felt like all genre and most entertainment mediums seem to come together in one way or another. Up-and-comers became big name and small names became up-and-comers. EDM music as a whole is completly transforming how the music industry operates.

Beatport is the iTunes of EDM world; getting more exclusive content then any other music purchasing program.
EDM ticket sales were record setting in 2012. Electric Daisy Festival taking the cake as the biggest in the USA. Steve Aoki, Knife Party, OWSLA, Dim Mak, Pretty Lights music, and many more artist and project got so much attention this year. Something that music lovers wouldn’t have thought three years ago. EDM Trap music was birthed out of dirty southern rap producers.

Brainlessbeats.com went through alot too. There were times where I had no passion for the site but kept doing it and it payed off so well. I have over 12,000 views this year. Which is alot considering I am 90% a one man operation. These past few weeks showed a double of my views than in the previous before that and to you I say: thank you for the inspiration.

I wanted to post the best of Brainless Beats 2012 to remember and reflect on all the great music that we have seen this year. My site didn’t even scratch the surface of the greatness created this year, but here we go:

-See You Next Year

Lady Killers ft. Hoodie Allen – G-Eazy // Ballin’ Hip-Hop Collaboration

I am a avid fan of Hoodie Allen. To see this collaboration + tour with G-Eazy is phenomenal. They go great together. Lady Killers has a slow, upbeat rhythm to it, but with a mix of intelligent lyricism. Watch else is there to say? This dope, espicially if you a fan of either artist.

No Interruption – Hoodie Allen // Chill Indie Hip Hop

This new video was dropped yesterday and it caught my attention. Hoodie Allen’s mix of hip hop, indie and R&B makes his style very unique. The video keeps your mind guessing as of what will what happen next. Is he kidnapped? Being held for ransom? The video is fun and the chicks are hot.

Watch the video, get the track.
