This is the first time Eprom has popped on my SoundCloud feed. Very unique angle for the sound he is going after. The two rap mixes below are styled with odd pauses and breaks mixed with rough dirty glitch-hop, and a splash of Nintendo. Can’t help finding myself intrigued with what I hear. Tracks are free as well, get ‘em below.
I love the Watch the Throne album that Jay-Z and Kayne collaberated on, every track on that album is phenomenal. Now they have come out with the first video of 2012 for the track No Church in the Wild. Although they don’t make an appearance in the video, it doesn’t take away from the fact that the video is bad ass . Set in modern times, this video contains passion filled rioters in Europe. The fight and struggle and it’s all in slow motion. It pretty bad ass and it reminds me of what Greece must be going through with their financial collapse happening. Watch this shit.
When I was at Hangout Festival I met someone who told me about this album. I thought Pretty Lights and Jay-Z actually got together to make it. Not true. Still it is a flyyyy ass album. It’s Jay-z’s Black Album mixed with various Pretty Lights songs. I listened to the whole album and just sank into it.
By far the best remix of the track I have found, my DJ/Sneaker collector friend BaoCan showed it to me. The electronic in the background of the track makes the track to unique. Yet, when the drop comes, its heavier than anything remix of the track I have heard; and I have heard alot. Download and enjoy, my friends, download and enjoy.
