MONSTA – The M.O.N.S.T.A. // Dubstep/Trap Fusion Sound

Monsta has been giving us alot of track lately. The really hit the  scene, a  while  back,  when Skrillex & Nero remixed ‘Holdin on’. They’ve recently dropped a bootleg of Skrillex’s ‘Make In Dem Burn‘ and now they hit us with ‘The M.O.N.S.T.A.’ which is their intro song at their live shows. To describe, it’s an eclectic fusion of dubstep and trap with a powerful, yet simplistic drop. Defiantly a easy track to chant to, since the lyrics are easy and slow. Enjoy.

Nero – ‘Into the Past’ // Great Gatsby Soundtrack

It’s about time son! The duo Nero finally dropped a new track after I don’t know how long. This track doesn’t really have a drop. It’s more of a continuation of builing ambiance for five minutes. Defiantly more on the “Seven Lions’ side of dubstep. Either way, the track was made for The Great Gatsby soundtrack, so that definatly influenced they aim for the track.

Tut Tut Child – Path Of The Umbra // Heavy Dubstep Original

.
There’s several reasons to love Tut Tut Child. Does he make great diverse music? Yes. Has he been apart of astounding collaborations? Historical compilations? Absolutely. Even through the thick and thin, he still gives his fans the one thing they need, love. The UK-based dubstep artist has given out his new incredible banger “Path Of The Umbra” for for free,  just for his fans.
.
Right of the bat, I would say this song is for fans of Flux Pavilion’s Blow The Roof sound. It carries that same vibe. The drop hits with a almost spooky-grimy themed dubstep track. Don’t miss this people, it was made just for you!

MUST DIE! & ETC!ETC! – Panic Attack // Epic Dubstep Collaberation

If you’re a fan of Seven Lions then you will love “Panic Attack.” Must Die! and ETC!ETC! come from different musical backgrounds, but they find great common ground for this soon-to-be-hit collaboration track. The entire sound is basically trance/dubstep. Very misty and mysterious, the sound is more spread out and the dubstep isn’t trying to make you have a sensory overload. Overall, I nice sound track, especially with the Anna Yvette vocals, sexy.

Adoxe – Cadence // Incredible Dubstep Track

Dubstep sometimes may seem repetitive, but Adoxe reminds you why you love the genre. A truly melodic twist on some seriously bass-infused tracks. Candence is a beautiful construction of atmosphere, ambiance, and Dubstep. I couldn’t find much else about this artist; the Soundcloud page is blank, and his music is uploaded via 3rd party music blogs. I hope to hear more from them soon.

A-Trak Special: The Best of A-Trak // A Diverse Group of A-Trak Trap Electro and Hip-Hop

It’s about time Brainlessbeats gave shouts out to A-Trak, the productions and collaborations the man has been involved with lately is phenomenal. There’s simply no boundaries with it; A-Trak has remixed and produced everything from house to trap, dubstep, electro…you name it. A man whose credibilitity could easily shine with one of the many killer tracks that have sprung up in the last year.

Here is a few of my favorite tracks by this New York-based artist:

Monsta – Holdin’ On (Skrillex & Nero Remix // Amazing OWSLA Drumstep Track

Yeaaaaa buddy. This track undoubtedly goes hard in the paint. There is alot of information about this track, this artist and OWSLA, I’ll let thissongissick.com explain it best.

“Say hello to Monsta.. the latest group discovered by Skrillex and signed to his incredible OWSLA record label.. Introducing them into the world is a HUGE Skrillex & Nero drumstep collaboration remix of Monsta’s single “Holding On”. Monsta is a 3 piece live electronic group based out of London, UK. Skrillex discovered the group at South By Southwest, and instantly got atracted to lead singer “Skaar”‘s powerful vocals, stating “His vocals are so raw and so pristine he can just walk up to any mic…. he just sounds like fucking angels are singing.” the trio have their debut release Monsta EP is going to be released on his OWSLA label everywhere October 23rd including the original version of ”Holdin On” alongside 2 other originals and 2 other remixes from Alvin Risk and a Dillon Francis / Kill Paris combination that both sound like their going to be epic. This might be the first you’ve heard about Monsta, but most certainly won’t be the last, especially after this EP. Enjoy!”

So basically, Monsta is dope, he is treated very well by OWSLA and he is going to be super famous. Enjoy the track :)

Under My Skin ft. SOFI – Savoy // Dubstep Remake of a Banger

So this trio group Savoy based out of Colorado joined forces with the singer SOFI which has done tracks with Deadmau5. SOFI has added some dope vocals on Savoy’s notorious dubstep banger Under My Skin. It can get a little repetitive but the vocals defiantly help balance the track, the drop is sharp, loud and in your face. A great collaboration that will not be soon forgotten.

Download and Enjoy.

Akira (Habstrakt Remix) – Koan Sound // Old School Dubstep Feel

Based out of France, Habstrakt has been tearing it up in the underground scene. His FB likes are up to 12,000, his soundcloud has over  100,000 plays. You can Mr. Adam is a up-and-coming for the Europe scene. Let do him a solid and turn him into a up-and-coming here.

Here is some info from his agency:

Coming from the South of France, Adam a.k.a Habstrakt was a guitar and keys player before turning his mind onto samplers and grooveboxes very early. He first got into Trip Hop and also wrote music for movies & even theater, but in 2008 he discovered dubstep and drum n bass music, and immediately got involved in production and DJ’ing.

Four years later his tracks are welcomed by many established labels such as Buygore and Never Say Die. Those releases have gained him huge support from some of the biggest names in the the scene such as Flux Pavilion, Borgore & Datsik amongst others. It’s been two years now since he began touring as a DJ throughout Europe, always smashing the dancefloor with a tight, precise yet energetic mix. So far nothing seems to stop him 2012 as he’s now among those to follow closely.’

He totally kills it on this new remix of Koan Sound’s Akira. This track has a old-school atmosphere mixed with a new-school, sharp wobble. The remix is pretty laid back and repeats itself in a very pleasent way. What makes this track really unique is the spooky vocals and the earie tone makes the track stand out from anything else.

Download and Enjoy.

Crowd Control (Delta Heavy Remix) – Excision & Downlink // Super Heavy Dubstep

As you all know. Describing Delta Heavy as “my favorite dubstep artist” is a understatement. With every track and every EP Delta Heavy packs a exclusive punch into his work and it doesn’t go unnoticed. Each track he releases get more views, more comment, and more attention. He has recently booked some upcoming festival and shows in the UK, US and Belgium.

Delta Heavy’s remix of Excision & Downlink’s – Crowd Control takes the song to the next level. DH takes his classic grinding electronic style and turn this track into a powerhouse of hard dubstep. The only thing I could ask for is if the track was longer.

Download and Enjoy.
