Kanye West & Jay-Z – N.I.P (Eprom Remix) + Bonus Track

This is the first time Eprom has popped on my SoundCloud feed. Very unique angle for the sound he is going after.  The two rap mixes below are styled with odd pauses and breaks mixed with rough dirty glitch-hop, and a splash of Nintendo. Can’t help finding myself intrigued with what I hear. Tracks are free as well, get ‘em below.

SKiSM ft. Virus Syndicate – Like This (Antiserum & Mayhem Remix)

First off, if you’ve never heard the original. You’re a damn fool. This track is one of the best dubstep tracks of 2012. Antiserum & Mayhem take it to the next level trapifying it. There’s really no need for explanation. Listen to it and you’ll see why the play count is skyrocketing. It’s heavy, hard, fun and an all around banger. Don’t miss this!

Kyro & Bomber feat Blissando – Beacon (Lazy Rich & Hirshee Remix) // Nostalgic Electro-House

.
I had the chance to see Lazy Rich @ Buku Music + Art Festival in New Orleans, but missed it! Can you believe me? So sad. Lazy Rich’s remix with Hirshee is a perfect example of why I should have my ass kicked for missed such a talented guy! Their remix of Kyro & Bomber‘s ‘Beacon‘ really strike a sentimental chord for EDM fans. The full version comes out on April 22nd so look out of for it!

iDestiny Special: Fresh Dubstep + Exclusive Interview

With every track iDestiny releases the more intrigued I am. He has reached a unique equilibrium of lively electro sound with easy-to-work-with pop.  When comparing how professional Loren Moore’s sound with  how unnoticed/underrated he is, your surprised he hasn’t already played the big-name stages. We featured Moore’s Tegan & Sara remix of Closer last week, my favorite track thus far.

Luckily enough, the Dallas-based musician gave Brainless Beats an exclusive interview! A small bio about iDestiny and the interview is posted below:

“From a naive influence to a professional ambition, english twenty two year old multi-genre songwriter and producer, Loren Moore, hears from both the listener and producer’s side. Having starting music at age thirteen and writing since fifteen he has been producing himself from the start. Since taking producing and songwriting to a professional level in late 2010 he has worked with artists and bands in the DFW area of all genres and is quickly establishing his name in the industry.”

Interview:

So how did your musical beginning aspire?

.
My musical beginning all started at age 13 when I moved to Connecticut in America and my best friend at the time randomly said to me one day, “You know what we should do? …We should start a band.” Even though we never started one, me having never even thought of music in that light before, it struck a curiosity and has been a life decision ever since.
I did however spontaneously decide to play trombone when I was 10 and performed a solo at a school concert, but I was more interested in how obscure and different the instrument was rather than music itself then.
 .
Where has your music career taken you so far?

.
Throughout the years I’ve gone under many aliases and played in many groups. I’ve never written just one genre as I’m too in love with every one, which is why I decided my music career and outlet would be as a producer. But before I made that decision I started playing in bands as either a drummer, bass player or guitarist until I decided to write my own material starting a band of my own and the occasional side project, some of which I went under as an artist. All of which I produced all my material, but never considered it “producing” since I just considered it to be the way I could achieve the sound I wanted, not to mention the obvious fact of not having to pay for a time at a studio.
.
It was only till late 2010 when I decided to be a producer and gain the confidence to record other people as well as myself. As being an artist, I found my message as an individual was not going to be achieved with a group. That’s when IDestiny came into the picture of summer 2011 to summer 2012 battling myself for a year till early hours of the morning learning how to create the sound in EDM I wanted. IDestiny has truly answered to me as an artist because it involves everything I’ve ever learned as a person and everything I’ve done in music into one.

 .
Your Sound Cloud music tends to be up-beat, pop/dubstep remixes and originals. Who influenced you to go in this direction?
.
I wouldn’t say the sound of IDestiny has been inspired by WHO I aspire and listen to. I believe I’ve always created a sound of mine amongst the genres I’ve written. I listen and observe too many artists and things in life to be inspired by a collection of people.
I will say my roots are from rock and atmospheric instrumental music though, so I suppose that’s why I’ve always had a more grimier yet heavily layered musical style. If I can’t feel what I’m writing then I will have already moved on before deciding.
 .
What is it like to be apart of the diverse UK EDM scene?
.
I might be English, but I actually live in Dallas, TX. I travel and have moved quite a lot so don’t consider myself to be any part of any region or scene, more of the world as a whole since that is what my goal is anyway. Heck, let’s go for Venus and Mars while I’m at it!
 .
What software do you use to create your sound?
.
I produce all my electronic and IDestiny material on Ableton and ‘real-instrument’ related genres on ProTools.
 .
Any future plans such as new record label signings, tours, or new music releases?
.
Most definitely. Future plans are all I think of!
Currently I’m finished a few remixes and working on a few originals with a few artists like Starship Romance, Goldhouse and much more back in Dallas. In March, I’m releasing a remix EP of my single “Tired Of Waiting” featuring various producers I’ve networked with around the world. I should start plays shows soon and I’m planning for an original EP for late summer. All the background activity is secret though. ;)

Zedd Ft. Foxes – Clarity (Tiesto Remix) // Amazing Electro-House Remix

When your song gets remixed by Tiesto, it means one thing: you’ll be the talk of the EDM world for quite sometime (shouts to Passion Pit). The revolutionary Zedd has had the honor of his infamous Clarity track to be transformed into a club-friendly Tiesto remix. I am not a huge fan of Tiesto, I find his dedicated fan base remarkable, but the music is just OK; but this song t Zedd ft. Foxes – Clarity (Tiesto Remix), is beautiful, heavy, and flat-out well constructed. Download below

Carnage – Bang! (Ookay Bootleg) // Banger Trap Music

Ookay has made a good name for himself. I’ve seen some great trap bangers come from him every now and again, but  a bootleg of the notorious Bang! by Carnage. Pshhh, good choice. The track blows the roof off hands down. Here’s a SC bio about Ookay:

“With only less than a year creating music, Ookay has created an imprint of a growing sound within clubs and major festival. His first ever Beatport release with Ultra Records has charted very well on the electronica chart peaking at #10. With thousands of people supporting Ookay, there’s no limit to where he may go. Already associating himself with names like Borgore, UZ, Flosstradamus, RL Grime, Mayhem, Craze and more, Ookay has gained mass popularity and a likability, not just personally, but musically as well.”

So keep a eye on Ookay, and get the track below.

Last Lynx – Killing Switch (Sound Remedy Remix) // Original Dubstep Remix

There’s some serious hype behind this track, all over blogs and twitter, ect. For a good reason to. Killing Switch (Sound Remedy Remix) is summed up into one word: Original. There no typical drum intro or trippy keyboard. The construction of the song is captivating with effects that sound like they were meant to go together. Great track from beginning to end. Especially the piano outro…wow.

Doctor P feat. Eva Simons – Bulletproof (Vicetone Remix) // Prog. House Remix

Vicetone has been all over the web recently, seems as if they are going on a music releasing campaign! Not a bad thing though, Vicetone last few remix’s  have been putting the Netherlands duo on the map. The sound that comes out of the Netherlands (Hardwell, Sick Individuals, R3hab…) tends to be a brilliant blend of melody and power. Get Doctor P feat. Bruno Mars – Locked Out Of Heaven (The M Machine Remix) // Dope Heavy Electro Remix

Locked Out Of Heaven remixes are starting to trend just a bit. This is the second I’ve heard,  “The M Machine” is by far the best one! Great construction all around, great sound programming,  a all around enhancer of what the original is. The M Machine has been release through  OWSLA for sometime now; but it seems this was a Atlantic Recs release:

Download and Enjoy.
