Finally, some non-boring EDM! OWSLA has uploaded a sick addition to their catalog; the likes of David Heartbreak. ‘TheFoundation‘ EP is quite literally heavy Reggae-EDM, it’s like nothing you’ve ever heard before. If Dog Blood filthy south and Major Lazer fucked, this is who you’d have. The whole EP is really worth listening to.
Here’s a brand new chill trap released by Skrillex’s label: OWSLA. ‘Raindrops’ pushes the boundary of EDM. This is a beautiful a fusion of genres like trap, trance, downtempo. Clearly David Heartbreak isn’t afraid to mix it up and try knew things. Skylar Grey’s vocal on this track really make its sexy and smooth.
DJ HellFire has some serious talent when it comes to creating sick bootlegs of your favorite songs. I was using DJ HellFire’s ‘I Need Your Love’ Bootleg in my set the other day and the crowd went wild. If you’ve heard any of HellFire’s hard-hitting reworks, let me reassure you that, Rage Island carries the same magnitude.
The power of twitter is unfathomable. There was one single tweet that let to the explosion of posts about ‘Jack U.’
That single tweet has led to an explosion of questions on the web. Everyone has been excited for the Mad Decent Block Party line-up announcement, but now the EDM world is puzzled by the less than descriptive tweet. It is rumored that the super duo will be performing at the MDBP’s. More info on that as it comes out.
By the way. You should go to the Block Party! Instead of only being based in Philly the block party is hitting up over a dozen cities from Calgary to San Diego. This is one tour that you don’t want to miss.
Monsta has been giving us alot of track lately. The really hit the scene, a while back, when Skrillex & Nero remixed ‘Holdin on’. They’ve recently dropped a bootleg of Skrillex’s ‘Make In Dem Burn‘ and now they hit us with ‘The M.O.N.S.T.A.’ which is their intro song at their live shows. To describe, it’s an eclectic fusion of dubstep and trap with a powerful, yet simplistic drop. Defiantly a easy track to chant to, since the lyrics are easy and slow. Enjoy.
The duo Monsta, supported by OWSLA recordings, releases a new bootleg of the infamous reggae-ton dubstep ‘Make It Dem Burn’. It’s basically a full-on remix, at least more than a re-edit or bootleg! Anyway, the team totally transform the song into a dubstep ready rager. Check it below.
This new OWSLA release is well above average for what The Nest (OWSLA’s exclusive music club) offers. Right off the bat, “Durante – Challenger“ Minimix is for fans of Oliver, Madeon and the “Nu Disco” genre/movement. It’s a brilliant fusion of downtempo and upbeat electronic music, giving your mind the great waves of excitement and relaxation. Check out the minimix below.
Droppin’ some new Dillon Francis clips today. The Official “Messages” Music Video hit the PotatoWillEatYou airwaves this past Wednesday, taking the internet nerds minds by storm. He focuses exclusively on using Emoji icons to create entertaining shapes, people symbols, ect. The video could use a little more dialog..storyline, or something.
Yet, the idea has never been done before so props to DF and Made Decent label for making this happen.
I posted the single ” RW 2” a few day’s back which was only a tease of Alex Metric‘s new “Ammunition Pt. 3.” Now it’s here! It’s light, colorful, upbeat, and a smooth ride from start to finish. That’s one of OWSLA (Skrillex’s Label) best features. Their ability to collect multi-genre artist that have a original themes they aim for and achieve. Can’t get a enough of it. Listen below.
There’s several reasons to love Tut Tut Child. Does he make great diverse music? Yes. Has he been apart of astounding collaborations? Historical compilations? Absolutely. Even through the thick and thin, he still gives his fans the one thing they need, love. The UK-based dubstep artist has given out his new incredible banger “Path Of The Umbra” for for free, just for his fans.
Right of the bat, I would say this song is for fans of Flux Pavilion’s Blow The Roof sound. It carries that same vibe. The drop hits with a almost spooky-grimy themed dubstep track. Don’t miss this people, it was made just for you!
