Armin van Buuren ft. Trevor Guthrie – ‘This Is What It Feels Like’ (Moiez Remix) // Phenominal Nostaligic Prog. House

One of the absolute best progressive sounds I’ve heard in my life. This will undoubtedly and indefinitely change Moiez career. From beginning to end the remix of ‘This Is What It Feels’  your heart is taken down nostalgia highway, your mind taken  into a movie montage of a fantasy EDM world, all in the moment of the song. It’s simply phenomenal, and FREE.

Paris Blohm – Fire In The Sun ft. Ilsey Juber (Original Mix) // Electro House Anthem

I stumbled upon this fresh original electro-house track “Fire in the Sun” via thissongslaps.com. Paris Blohn has made a phenomenal masterpiece of an anthem. I’ve never heard music of Paris Blohn before, but I’m surely following him after this point. The vocals of Illsey Juber are simply heart melting. If you love passionate trance/electro-house THIS is the track for you.

Rolling Stone Interview w/Porter Robinson + SpitFire Download Link

Porter Robinsonis a smart mother fucker. He is 19, and is in the big league of the EDM scene. He had a very keen sense of music and know which cities like what kind of EDM the best.Rolling Stone has taken notice of his skyrocketing popularity and interviewed him a few weeks ago.

July 9, 2012 3:10 PM ET

Porter Robinson may be the living embodiment of the current EDM explosion, and he knows it. “I feel like my trajectory going up has corresponded pretty neatly with the course of dance music in America overall,” the 19-year-old tells Rolling Stone.

Signed to Skrillex’s OWSLA label, Robinson first fell for electronic music as a 12-year-old growing up in North Carolina, obsessing over the videogame Dance Dance Revolution. “I’ve only ever listened to electronic music; that’s all I’ve ever really been passionate about,” he says. Robinson opened for Tiësto’s College Invasion tour last fall, played Electric Daisy Carnival and Coachella this year and now enjoys a residency in Las Vegas. But while he’s making the most of the scene’s current boom, he’s also looking ahead to its next phase.

“It’s been a big question for me: ‘How do I advance?’” Robinson says. “I’ve been gauging crowds, and I think right now they’re really excited by shocking use of minimalism. I think the other thing that’s been largely unexplored, especially in American dance music, has been hyper-emotional, goosebumps-inducing, chills-inducing music.”

According to Robinson, nothing fits this bill better than trance, the subgenre led by artists like Paul Oakenfold and Tiësto over a decade ago. “I found that in America, if you’re into trance artists like Mat Zo and Arty, you’re kind of considered a tastemaker, cool and underground,” he says. “My most recent song ["Language"] was like a full-on barrage of all emotion, all sentimentality, nostalgia sounds, and it elicited a massive response.”

Robinson is actively touring at the moment, which he admits makes releasing singles easier than albums, but he aims to release an LP one day. Moreso, he is set on bringing his trance enthusiasm to his fans. “It’s always better to lead than follow as an artist,” he says. “I would love to be the person to bring the next sound.”

Teenage Dream + Last Friday Night: Remixes – Katy Perry // Chill Trance and Pop Remixes

I got two tracks coming at you.

First, Kaskades Teenage Dream Remix.  I found the track after I downloaded the deluxe album of Teenage Dream. It is  a very light and relativlely intamite track. Very easy to listen to and enjoy. Kaskade always knows how to but fresh trance fixes on good tracks.

Next is the Official Remix of Last Friday Night. The intro is just amazing, a poppy yet heavy beat. As soon as I heard it I knew it was gold. Missy Elliot throws down too. Just trust me, listen to this track.

Kaskade VS. Sandro Silva & Quintino – Call Out Epic (Kaskade Mash Up) // Smooth House

This new Kaskade track has been climbing the charts lately. It looks like he released this live and then made and a officialy studio edit. It’s very ambient, very house like and deep. Call out Epic  may be a little too much for some to handle, but his true fans will be very interested in this.

The Veldt feat. Chris James – Deadmau5 // Soothing Progressive House

What a graceful progressiv e trance track. This track will definatly be found on Deadmau5′s upcoming album. The Veldt feat. Chris James is track for fans of Kaskade’s Fire & Ice album. It feels you with the soothing, ecstasy, not a care in the world, feeling. Just go with the flow. I have to respect Deadmau5 wishing and not have this track for download, sorry guys.

Language – Porter Robison // Soothing Trance/House Track

Download: Language

Wow, Porter Robison is just a a God of electronic music. His last album Spitfire created a breeding ground for new mashups and remixes to be made with his tracks; and he has done it again. Language is gets you to a state of pure nirvana. The vocal just make you lay back and melt away. God I hope I get to see this guy live.

Raise Your Head – Alesso // Filthy House Track

This is an old track that I just discovered. The build up is a little slow but you will be sucked into it. The “everybody raise your hands” build up gets you pumped for the drop. And then, boom! The electronic power-house of synth hits. I am a big fan of house, but if you are too, get this track.

Pretty Lights is still sticking to his roots, this song is more laid back than the last song posted We Know the Truth. This track is more chillaxed and bubbly, but with an interesting twist; it builds up more as the song goes on, while retaining its relaxed essence. Anyway, check out the song and video below.
